2. How Your Data Is Processed

All video processing and frame extraction is performed locally on your device. Your videos and extracted photos are never uploaded to our servers or any external servers. Specifically:

Video frame extraction uses FFmpeg, which runs entirely on your device
Scene analysis (brightness, sharpness, scene change detection) is performed locally
Extracted frames are saved to your device's local storage
Project history and preferences are stored locally using an on-device database (Hive)

3. Third-Party Services

Google AdMob

We display banner advertisements and rewarded interstitial advertisements through Google AdMob. Google may collect:

Device advertising identifiers (IDFA on iOS, AAID on Android)
Device characteristics (OS, model, screen size)
Ad interaction data (impressions, clicks)
Approximate location derived from IP address

Google User Messaging Platform (UMP)

The App uses Google's UMP SDK to manage your ad consent preferences in accordance with applicable regulations.

All data is stored locally on your device
We do not maintain any servers or databases that store your data
You can delete your project history and saved image records within the App
Uninstalling the App will remove all locally stored data

6. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.

Video to Photo is a mobile application that allows you to extract still images (frames) from video files. The App provides:

Video frame extraction with precision controls
Automatic frame recommendation based on quality analysis
Multi-frame selection and batch export
Gallery management for extracted frames

2. Use of the App

You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:

Use the App to extract frames from videos you do not have the right to use
Reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from copyrighted video content without proper authorization
Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
Use the App in any way that could damage, disable, or impair its functionality

3. Intellectual Property

4. Advertisements

The App displays advertisements provided by Google AdMob. By using the App, you agree to view these advertisements. The App also offers rewarded advertisements that provide additional features in exchange for viewing ads.

5. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to:

Warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose
Warranties that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or virus-free
Warranties regarding the quality of extracted frames or images

6. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:

Device storage issues resulting from extracted frames

You retain all rights to the videos you import and the frames you extract
We do not access, store, or transmit your videos or extracted images to any external servers
You are responsible for backing up your own data; we are not liable for any data loss

We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective when posted. Your continued use of the App after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

We may terminate or suspend your access to the App at any time, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users or us.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Korea, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I extract frames from a video?

Open the app, tap Import Video, select a video from your gallery or files, use the Frame Explorer to scrub through frames, and tap Save This Frame to capture.

What video formats are supported?

Video to Photo supports all common video formats including MP4, MOV, AVI, and MKV.

How do I change the export quality?

Go to Settings > Default Save Quality and choose between Original, 1080p, or 720p. You can also switch between JPEG and PNG formats.

Can I extract multiple frames at once?

Yes! Select as many frames as you want in the Frame Explorer, then save them all at once.

Where are my extracted photos saved?

All extracted photos are saved directly to your device's photo gallery. You can also view them in the app's built-in Gallery.

How do I delete extracted frames?

Open Gallery, long-press to enter selection mode, select the frames you want to remove, and tap Delete.
