Video Compressor ("the App") handles your information as follows.
1. Information We Collect
Information You Provide
- Video files you select from your photo library for compression
- Compression settings and preferences (preset, resolution, bitrate, frame rate, audio toggle, output format)
- Language preference (Korean or English)
Automatically Collected Information
The App uses Google AdMob to display advertisements. AdMob may automatically collect:
- Advertising identifier (IDFA on iOS, Advertising ID on Android)
- Device information (model, OS version)
- General location data (IP-based, not precise GPS)
- Ad interaction data (impressions, clicks)
Information We Do NOT Collect
- We do not collect your name, email address, or any personal contact information
- We do not collect precise GPS location
- We do not collect or transmit your video content to any server
- We do not create user accounts or track login credentials
- We do not collect browsing history or usage analytics
2. How Your Data Is Processed
All video compression is performed entirely on your device. Your videos are never uploaded to any external server. The App processes videos locally using your device's hardware, and compressed files remain on your device until you choose to share or save them.
3. Third-Party Services
The App uses the following third-party service:
- Google AdMob - Used to display interstitial advertisements. AdMob may collect device and ad interaction data as described above. For more information, see Google's Privacy Policy.
4. Device Permissions

5. Data Storage and Retention
- Compression history and app preferences are stored locally on your device using standard on-device storage
- No data is stored on external servers
- You can delete all compression history from the Settings screen within the App
- Uninstalling the App removes all locally stored data
6. Children's Privacy
The App is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.
7. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically.
